It is hard to find the right category for this book because of the organization's unique qualities.

If this is the first time you have seen or heard about Sunbeams or Girl Guards, you are in for possibly a surprise. The Salvation Army which a lot of people know, has a ranking system much like the real army, and beneath them are groups for young children to participate like Girl or Boy Scouts.

I know a lot about them because I am a proud former Girl Guard. I was too old to be a Sunbeam when I arrived on the scene.
These programs teach many things the same as Girls Scouts and are faith based. A lot Sunbeam's and Girl Guards looked forward to someday moving up the ranks to be called a Lieutenant and so on.

I feel like this would be a rare find!
