Filter ring is in very good condition. I don't see any dents. Ring has some scratches from use. It works good. It is fully operational and functions as intended.
I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Please note that it ring has 45.5mm lower part (it should slip over 44mm rim), and it will hold one series 6 filter. It has single threaded retaining ring (on top).
