Please look closely at the pictures. I don’t know much about this vintage Christmas elf. I can tell you that the shoes are black wooden and it is a wooden peg that holds the shoes on. I think he’s meant to stand although due to age he’s quite wobbly now !

he does not…..absolutely does not bend at the waist, so there is no Knee hugger here

he also does not bend at the elbows, his arms go up and down easily, but his legs are immobile.
