This is a VERY RARE and ORIGINAL ANTIQUE BAR PIN that was made in the ART DECO PERIOD of c1925 - c1935. It is handmade from 18-1/2 K YELLOW GOLD and PLATINUM topped and is of EUROPEAN ORIGINS. Yes, that is correct, 18-1/2 K (not 18K), and it is stamped 765 (meaning 18-1/2 K) and it has a MAKER’S MARK of K within a cartouche. These stamps are on the pin locking mechanism that is unique as well and something I have not seen before.
The pin is BEAUTIFULLY DETAILED with a HAND CARVED CREAM MATERIAL that has a LEAF DESIGN - please inquire about this material. This carved piece is bezel-set with 5 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of I to J color, SI clarity that weigh .02 ct. to .11 ct each. The pin is also set with 6 small ROSE CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .02 ctw. The total diamond weight .31 ctw. The pin measures 2” long by 6.5 mm at the widest point. The total weight is 4.1 grams. A RARE & CLASSY PIN...NOTHING LESS THAN FABULOUS!
