Synopsis:
Zhang Qing, a student majoring in literary history at a certain university, is well versed in classical literature, but his thesis proposal of analyzing ancient literary history with modern concepts is not recognized by Professor Ye. In order to make Professor Ye his graduate supervisor, Zhang Qing decided to further elaborate on the viewpoints he wanted to express through writing novels.
In his novel, the mysterious young man Fan Xian lives with his grandmother in the small coastal town of Danzhou since childhood. With the sudden visit of a teacher, his seemingly calm life begins to face numerous crises and tests.
