Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks good; a few creases near edges; moderate scuffing and slight discoloration with darker discoloration on back; heavier scuffing and tiny surface abrasions on front; surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photo); seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Shelf-wear along top-edge; heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Billy Idol is the debut studio album by English rock vocalist Billy Idol (following his solo EP Don't Stop in 1981). Preceded in June 1982 by the hit-single Hot in the City, it was released in July 1982. After its next single, White Wedding, entered the Top 40 a year later, Billy Idol was reissued with the addition of the earlier single Dancing with Myself. Hot in the City was a bigger hit when re-released in the UK in 1988, peaking at #13 on the UK singles chart. The album peaked at No. 45 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold by the RIAA in 1983.
