Unique Antique Photo of Sea Lifting Cable Passenger Cart to Ship Michigan

Late 19^th century snapshot photograph of an unusual sea lift container cart with passengers being cabled across the waters towards their ship. The entire process looks precarious by any standard. No identification of the location or boat is indicated... Or for that matter the identity of the “brave incoming passengers”.  Boat also appears to be hauling a barely sustainable amount of lumber.
 
This photograph came out of a 1890’s Michigan family photo album.
