Description

April 7th 1865 ( Vicksburg,MS)  permission voucher to Federal occupied troops from  John Condict to deliver  goods for his Plantation. At this time Vicksburg was under full occupation by the Union army and any movement and transportation of goods and supplies had to be approved by the Treasury Agent of the Federal Government located in Vicksburg.

$207.00 dollars of goods are listed including 50 pounds of bacon and coffee and 90 pounds of sugar.






From old records its believed that Condict's plantation was located near Kings Point Ferry,Louisanna.
