The Magnavox Illustravox Jr. was a portable audio-visual unit that opened into a film strip projector, record player, and sound system. It was developed for industrial training programs.
The Illustravox Junior is a portable record player/projector made by Magnavox, includes a projector and record player. Unsure of the exact age. The power cable is very good condition. I powered-up the projector. The projector bulb did light-up and the record player rotates, unsure of speaker function. All the tubes light up.
It is an Electro-Acoustic "Illustravox Junior". This is not only a phonograph record player, but also a film strip projector as well! Used as a film strip presentation in combination with a record. Also, for just record or film strip presentation. The projector/record player conveniently folds into one box. Measures 13-1/2 tall X 16" long X 8-1/2"wide and weighs about 22 lbs.
The strip film projector bulb lit-up (see photo) and works fine. It can be controlled from the back while playing the phonograph.
