This vintage McDonnell F4H Phantom II Sageburner glass dish tray commemorates the U.S. Navy speed record set on August 28, 1961, by the McDonnell F4H Phantom II "Sageburner." Made in the U.S.A. at the McDonnell Aircraft Factory, the tray is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks (see photos) and measures approximately 9 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 0.5 inches tall. The Sageburner project marked a significant aviation milestone, with Lieutenant Huntington Hardisty flying the Phantom II at low altitude to achieve a speed of over 900 mph, showcasing the aircraft’s speed, reliability, and performance in extreme conditions.

Shipping Policy
Due to ever increasing postage costs, shipping is charged separately rather than hidden in the item's price. This method is more equitable, allowing customers closer in proximity to benefit from reduced shipping costs. For orders with multiple items, I'm happy to offer combined shipping (which can further save on shipping expenses). Returns are accepted, provided the item is returned in the same condition it was received.
