For your consideration is an ALICE LC-2 pistol belt in a size Medium. It is in NOS, unissued condition. This belt is dated 1991, which makes it a relatively early example with the Fastex type buckle.
The tag says that a medium is meant for a waist "under 30 inches". When fully extended, this belt can actually fit up 39"
The LC-2 iteration of the ALICE system was initiated in the late 1970's. The pistol belt buckles moved away from the age old brass hook and ball buckles to the grey/green plastic slotted buckles. This was a part of the multi-decade effort to figure out a reliable quick release for the pistol belt. While the slotted buckles served well, they could be prone to cracking after prolonged use. In the late 1980's Fastex type clips became a common option on civilian outdoor gear and the buckles started making their way into the military via popular gear "hacks". In the early 1990's the LC-2 pistol belts were revised again with the addition of the large Fastex style buckle and the addition of the button down webbing straps to help secure the size adjustments. These belts are occasionally referred to as "LC-3" belts to differentiate them from the prior version. This type of belt was issued well into the early 2000's.
