This vintage postcard features the Indian Trail Marker located a few feet off Route 23, 2OE miles north of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. This marker is a unique natural formation, an elm tree that continued to grow after being broken by Native Americans to serve as a guidepost along the trail leading to Crane Town, the last Indian settlement in Ohio. It is one of the few remaining trail markers laid down by Native Americans.
