Vintage 1978 Response Letter from Senator & Second Lady, Muriel Humphrey, with Original Free Frank Envelope.  The letter measures approx 8 1/4" x 10 1/2" & was in response to a request for a photo of Mrs. Humphrey.  Typed letter is dated July 12, 1978 & is on United States Senate stationary.  Letter is in good condition free of stains & tears.  The upper left hand corner has Muriel Humphrey Minnesota printed in blue.  The middle at the top has United States Senate Washington DC 20510 printed in blue as well.  The ink from the signature did bleed from what appears to be a drip of water.  All of the corners are still sharp.  Letter has been folded to fit the envelope.  The envelope was torn open at the top, but is otherwise in good condition.  There may be discoloration through out both pieces due to age & storage.  Please see all photos.
