DEALS WITH THE DEVIL/TALES TO BE TOLD IN THE DARK   Ballantine Books, 1st paperback printings, 1959/1960                 Condition: Good+                                                                                                                                                                     DEVIL has a dozen stories dating from 1913 to 1955.  Generally, they're more fantasy than horror, and several are humorous.  TALES features literary chillers, mostly from the '30s & '40s.  Each has 1 gutter tear, but all pages are intact and most are firm.  DEVIL has some spine lean, short tears at spine ends, some spine edge wear, light spine cresing and modest wear on extremities.  TALES has some spine end/edge wear, short cover creasing, modest wear on extremities, slight moisture staining on some page edges & a small name on the first page. Both books have light page toning.
