Rare Royal Citadel manual typewriter. Serial # dates it to 1957. It appears fully functional though I fumbled around with the magic margin feature for a bit and couldn't really figure it out. I don't think it's broken I just think I don't know what I'm doing. The carriage moves smoothly and other mechanical functions are fine. The keys are not sticky. I'm sure it needs a new ribbon. I don't know a lot about typewriters so assume that some servicing may be required.

Some kind of white substance was splattered all over it and dried. We cleaned a lot of it off but some is still visible. It is easily removed with an alcohol pad or other mild solvent.
