Vintage pewter hand wrought plate, The Landing of the Pilgrims, from Wendell August Forge, 1972.

From the Great Moments in History series.

Back of plate is stamped with the forge trademark and hand wrought pewter.

Plate is in very good condition.

Measures 8 3/4" in diameter.

Image of the Pilgrims walking ashore at Plymouth Rock. Mayflower can be seen in the background. Border of plate shows a floral wreath and a star at the top of the plate, with rays extending downward within the border. Edge of plate has a nice, hand wrought border.
