Pattern No, 28 aka Ring and Block
Crystal clear compote with a etch of Berries, Florals and Leaves
The glass itself has a detailed pattern of multiple motifs:
A band of squares separated by notching on all 4 sides
The flat surface of the serving area features crossed X's in a linear pattern
The bottom of the serving area is skirted with elongated rounded ribbing
The stem has a repeat of elongated ribbing that meets in the center and repeats again
at the top of the foot and at the base
Tons of details make this pattern a real eye catcher!
Measures 6" tall x 6" Diameter
Condition: No chips, nicks or repairs, almost appears as unused!

Note: Since this is Early American Pressed Glass there may be rough edges, air bubbles, visible seams or what is commonly called "straw marks" which are lines that are formed from uneven cooling. None of these are considered defects but acceptable as part of the the early glass making process. If any of these are readily seen, we will call them out. Thanks!
