We are pleased to offer you this rare piece of the head of Queen Nefertiti, an identical copy exactly as the ancient Egyptians made it. It is truly a rare and special piece.

Koningin Neferititi (1370 – 1330 v. Chr.): was de belangrijkste vrouw van de Egyptische farao Amenophis IVde; ook wel bekend onder de naam Echnaton (1351 – 1334 v. Chr.). Deze sculptuur werd gevonden in het atelier van Thutmose, de beeldhouwer. Deze buste lijkt een uiterst realistische weergave van haar gezicht. Mogelijk zou Neferititi enige jaren als farao hebben geregeerd onder de naam van Neferneferuaten, nadat haar man was overleden. Na haar wordt Toetanchamon farao van Egypte(1333 – 1323 v. Chr.).
