Digitally remastered & expanded 2 CD edition of the Garage Rock legends' (second) 1966 album, notorious for the 14-minute showstopper "Up in Her Room". The bulk of this set is new to CD, and it includes the original stereo mix, mono mix, and previously unreleased outtakes.  The original album consisted of six tracks on side one, beginning with Mr. Farmer; all of which had their classic garage rock sound and were fairly short.  Side two had only two songs: the pulsing, rhythmic Just Let Go, and their 14-minute closing song Up In Her Room; which has often been compared to The Velvet Underground’s Sister Ray, and is said to have influenced Iggy Pop and the Stooges, and Alice Cooper.  The song is remarkable for its bottle-neck guitar, fuzz-bass, and electric piano.  This album captures the early L.A./Sunset Strip scene to a quintessential T.   It will catch you in its web.
