This little individual creamer was made by Imperial Glass Company in their Antique Blue color, from "Mt. Vernon" pattern molds that they obtained from the Cambridge Glass Company when they closed. Imperial renamed it "Sawtooth." These were made in sets that also included an individual sugar bowl; but I do not have the sugar. They were shown in a 1966 Imperial catalog. So this is a reproduction by Imperial of a Cambridge Mt. Vernon piece. (I see that reproductions have also been made in Taiwan, perhaps after Imperial Glass closed. But those are marked.)
It is 2 1/2 inches tall at the side, 2 7/8 inches tall at the pour spout, and 2 1/4 inches wide at the side, 3 5/8 inches long from pour spout to handle. The base is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It weighs 5.1 ounces before packaging for shipping. It has an attractive scroll-like button handle. I've checked, and it's the perfect size for a tealight candle, should you wish to use it that way.
It's as perfect as it came from the factory -- except one odd internal fracture in the handle, which may be damage or it might have been made like that. The internal crack begins on the left side of the mold seam of the handle, and runs for about 1/2 inch, just crossing over the mold seam toward the end. It does not come through the surface of the glass -- its completely internal. It's not visible from the right side of the creamer, and just barely visible on the left side, if you hunt for it. But it does refract light if you turn it just so in the light. So I am not certain whether it's a factory flaw or if it was caused by a hard knock at some point in its history.
