Comments:  This is a classic flush mount side pillar AM/FM replacement antenna. It's an OEM style design that is used by Toyota and other imports. It features a bottom section that is recessed 27" inside the pillar and a single whip that pulls out and extends 25 inches. The flush mounting plate is 5" Long x 5/8" Wide with the gasket, 1/2" without gasket. The two mounting holes are 4 1/2" on center.

It's a specific OEM style replacement for Toyota Corolla, Paseo, Tercel, Previa, and other imports. Please check the dimensions above and pictures to make sure it will work for your application. 

The most important thing to remember when installing a new antenna is to make sure it is properly grounded to metal on the chassis! If not, it will not work. In an install where it will not be mounted to a grounded chassis it is best to run a separate ground wire direct to the battery.
