When Simon, sleeping in a car next to a suburban park with his sick mum, rescues a young possum, it plops him bulls-eye into the battleground against two manic local gardeners on their nightly possum hunt. What Simon can't predict is whether the possums’ courage, tenacity and craftiness will change him to discover a better future, or devastate the local possum colony.
