Vintage Mother Of Pearl & Brass Hinged Trinket Box

Pretty mother of pearl trinket box.

This is a wooden box which has been covered in small rectangular pieces of mother of pearl shell on the lid, front and back and has  thin brass sides.

Hinged lid, works well.

PLEASE NOTE that there are some signs of wear to this item; there is a mall chip to one of the corners of one piece of mother of pearl on the back of the box, the brass has dulled and has surface scratches, some light discolouration to the shell.

A pretty piece. The pictures do not do this lovely item justice.
