This is a sparkling crystal big vase in the Early American Prescut (called EAPC for short) pattern by Anchor Hocking. It is their largest vase in this pattern. It measures 10 3/8 inches tall, 3 3/4 inches wide at the bottom, and the top flares to just over 6 inches wide. It is heavy and weighs 4 pounds and 2.7 ounces.
Please note that this pattern is NOT "Star of David." That's a very bad moniker for this design. Davidian stars have 6 points (formed by 3 overlapping triangles). There is not even one 6 pointed star on any of the pieces of this pattern! That bad nickname was perpetuated by a popular author of books on glass patterns, but he is dead wrong on this. (There are several errors in his books, but I think this is the most heinous!)
This beautiful vase will be shipped by my choice of either UPS Ground Saver or USPS Ground Advantage rate (or UPS Ground, in some cases). Local delivery is always available for free to a mutually agreed upon meeting place. This is set for a flat rate to zone 8, (because that is cheaper than's calculated shipping), plus $2 for the shipping box and packaging material. It might cost less to your location, and if it does, I refund the difference. Or if you prefer, you may contact me with your zip code for an exact shipping cost.
I am happy to answer your questions about this piece.
