I am selling my Royal Ruby Classic set. They are all listed here so that you can choose one, more than one, or all of them. They are large pieces, so if combined shipping is requested it would be $60 shipping for three pieces. I cannot ship all four together in the same box, though! For 2, or 3 pieces of this set, to get the exact, or combined shipping before you pay, put them into your shopping cart and then request an invoice. If that doesn't work, or you didn't put them into your cart, just ask and I will send a refund after I've calculated what the combined shipping will be. These are large pieces, though, so some might not be able to ship in the same box with another piece. You can still order all four, but one would be shipped in a separate box from the rest.

Anchor Hocking made this set in the 1960s. It was made in clear glass, milk glass, milk glass with gold trim, and Royal Ruby red glass. Only these 4 shapes were made in ruby red glass. A famous author on Depression Glass, Hazel Marie Weatherman, gave the red ones the nickname "Rachael." I think she didn't know what the manufacturer named them. Or maybe she just liked giving glass nicknames. Anyhow, Anchor Hocking named them "Classic."

For sale in this listing are the Oval Bowl, the Round Bowl, the Platter (or underplate), and the Vase. Each are priced separately. Each has the typical zigzag or pointed star base, except the platter, which is just smooth on the bottom. Each has the rounded columns or ribs going out from the base, that end in a smooth edged scallop. They all are the beautiful deep ruby red glass that Royal Ruby is known to be.

1. The Oval Bowl is 12 3/8 inches long, 8 inches wide, 3 1/4 inches tall, and weighs 2 pounds 4.6 ounces. It is 5 7/8 inches long across the base.
2. The Round Bowl is 10 7/8 inches in diameter, 5 inches tall, and weighs 3 pounds 12 ounces. It is 5 inches wide/long across the base.
3. The Platter is 14 1/4 inches wide, 1 1/4 inch tall,  and weighs 3 pounds 6.7 ounces.
4. The Vase is 5 1/2 inches wide, 9 15/16 inches tall,  and weighs 3 pounds 2.6 ounces. It is 3 1/2 inches wide across the base.

These beautiful pieces are vintage, used, in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. They have a few minor use scratches. I don't think they have been used much at all in the past 60+ years!

This will be shipped by my choice of either UPS Ground Saver or USPS Ground Advantage rate -- or for combined shipping it probably will be UPS Ground. But if you prefer Priority or FedEx, I'm willing to consider that and will give you a quote if you ask before you make your purchase.  The shipping is set for the heaviest piece, since doesn't give an option to have a different shipping amount for each piece. So I will refund the overage on the slightly lighter pieces -- or you can put it in your shopping cart and request an invoice. [Note: Combined shipping would put them into an oversize box, which causes oversize shipping prices, and might not save money. We can check prices for combined vs separate shipping when you are ready to buy.] Local delivery is always available for free to a mutually agreed upon meeting place.

I am happy to answer your questions about this piece.
