Cornelian cherry trees, also known as Cornelian cherry dogwood, are a unique and versatile addition to any landscape. The Cornus mas shrub or small tree  is cousin to the American Dogwood. Transplants easily. Cornelian Cherry trees are found natively in woodlands, likewise they can be grown below the shade of other taller trees just fine. It takes well to pruning. Left un-pruned, the height of the woody tree ranges from 15-20 ft tall. Spreads range from 12-20 ft wide.
