** Once Upon A Time . . .
Lucy Rigg began making dough figures by hand in 1969 and went on to create paper goods both under her own company as well as several others. After signing with Enesco in the late 70's they produced people and bunnies from her designs, but she is most known for her smiling teddy bears. Enesco has produced figurines, musicals, mugs, tins, pins, and lots of miscellaneous collectible items, designed by Lucy, for 21 years.
