Coin Description:

Our 7^th president, 1829 – 1837.

Obverse: A portrait of Andrew Jackson is featured on the coin along with the inscriptions, Andrew Jackson which are located right above his own portrait. Arched below Jackson, are the inscriptions, 7th President 1829-1837.

Reverse: The reverse of the coin features the Statue of Liberty along with a $1 symbol under Liberty’s right arm. This $1 symbol, indicates the legal tender value of the coin. The words, United States of America, are also encircled around the coin.
