Cream cloth with front panel illustration of a punting football player player in black and red, football crossed bats and open book to the spine, cover lettering in black; white coated paper dust jacket with pictorial illustration replicating the books cover, except the back ground field is in green. A bit of wear to the crown of the spine, else a near fine, tight copy; in a very good, modestly worn dust jacket with light chipping to the spine ends and lower front flap corner. According to Mattson & Davis (31000) this copy of the book is in the first format. The book is also listed in Cary Sternick's THE HENRY ALTEMUS COMPANY: A History and Pictorial Bibliography (Item #17). According to the pictorial section of this history the dust jacket might be in the second format with the football field in green; the book is still in the first format. The second book, in the four book High School Boys Series again featuring Dick Prescott and his friends.
