Antique, appears to be handmade using welds or some sort of solder so they're not perfect in design but said production style was probably very well done for the era they were made. The gold finish is worn from decades of humidity exposure, which gives it a very current in-style rustic feel, this is the essense in what most brands are trying to replicate for decor now-adays.
They were found in a sealed off section of a attic in a century+ old house, the house has a known history for being a extrvagant summer house to a rich local woman in it's time. I suspect they're at least as old as that era (1921-1950ish) but could be older. They were deep in the attic that's not easy to move through since previous additions were added to the house since so they've been undisturbed for many decades.
More were found with them, I've split listings up into sets. These 17" are the smallest sets that I have multiple of, there's a listing with 20.5" others in a set of three (feel free to search my store or ask for a link to the other listing if you're interested).
Comes from a Smoke Free and Pet-Free home.
