Mid 19th century English Imari style oval serving platter. The ware uses a heavy ironstone type ceramic base, gilding, and hand applied color to give the items that polychrome effect. Length of platter is about 14".

Pre-owned, good condition no cracks or chips. Some items show some crazing, some molded in irregularities, or small losses to the applied polychrome colors on top of the pattern. Light brownish line visible in white center field of platter, about 1-2".
