This is an ESTATE PAIR of COCKTAIL EARRINGS that was made in the ART DECO STYLE, post 1950, from PLATINUM. They are set with 2 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS (bottom drops) of H color, VS2 clarity that weigh approx. .45 ct each, along with 2 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS (top studs) of G - H color, SI clarity that weigh approx. .20 ct each. They are additionally set with 12 SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS of H-I-J color, SI clarity that weigh approx. .18 ctw. The total diamond weight is approx. 1.48 carats.
The earrings are detailed with NATURAL RUBIES that weigh approx. 1.03 ctw. There are 35 RUBIES in the HALOS that are FRENCH CUT and CHANNEL-SET. There are an additional 10 MARQUISE CUT RUBIES running vertically. This pair of STUD DANGLE EARRINGS measures 2-3/16” long and the halos are 8.86 mm in diameter. The total weight is 6.7 grams.
