Although the "CONTENTS" page states that this issue is "VOL. 2, NO. 2," this is actually the THIRD issue of ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S MYSTERY MAGAZINE, the first issue having been listed as "VOL. 1, NO. 12," for reasons unknown, but probably having something to do with the eccentric magazine publishing laws of the mid- to late 1950s.
