The item for sale is a 1996 GI Joe action Marine Masterpiece edition by Hasbro. The doll is a reproduction of the 1964 GI Joe. This is a great boxed set. The box describes the book as a colorful detailed history of the creation of GI Joe, Top secret details never before revealed, behind the scenes interviews with Don Levine and other GI Joe designers, sculptors, engineers and artists. It has over 100 full-color photos and illustrations, many never before revealed. The action figure is a reproduction from an original 1964 GI Joe from the private collection of Don Levine and it has 21 moveable parts just like the original. It has authentic equipment from head to toe including metal dog tag.
