Offered is a set of antique/vintage Czecho-slovakian spill vases in the shape of a bird perched on a branch/stump in shades of blue, green, orange, and yellow. Both vases have multiple openings. Originally, these vases sat on fireplace mantels and held “spills” or thin curls of wood for lighting candles and lamps. The bird with the long tail feathers is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs found. The smaller, red breasted bird, is in very good condition with a thin hairline -see photos. Both the bases are marked with a dime-sized circle, “Made in Czecho-Slovakia”. Authentic Czecho-Slovakian pottery was only made between 1919 and 1939-between the two World Wars.
