This vintage pin-up art calendar/notepad features the iconic work of artist Gil Elvgren with an illustration entitled "The Verdict Was 'Wow'!".  Showing a calendar from October 1948 by Brown & Bigelow, this original piece is unused and advertises the Sunbury Auto Parts Co. in Sunbury, Pa.  The phone number only had 3 digits!!!  There is a logo on the front for M-E-W-A (Motor & Equipment Wholesalers Association).  The calendar has a notepad inside which has never been used so in essence it is brand new although 76 years old!  Also the inside cover has an advertisement for Sunbury Auto Parts titled "The Garage Business is a Touch Racket".  It measures 8" x 4-1/2".  The calendar/notepad was made in the United States and showcases the beauty and charm of the era. Own a piece of history with this amazing find!
