Our easy to use Metalcraft Scroll Bender MK2/3 Former tool produces very similar sized scrolls to those made with our MC019 MK2/2H scroll former and has the same specifications in flat metal steel strip and round rod.

Advantage of the MK2/3 scroll bender is that it offers capstan operation which means the steel is drawn into the tool and therefore doesn't require the same amount of clear space around your work bench that the MK2/2H does.  With metal being drawn into the MK2/3 scroll tool, makes it easier on the hands and is typically faster which  factors in especially when making larger quantities of scrolls.

Whilst, it is commonly purchased to complement the Practical range of tools, it also proves popular to those with the Master range of tools who might wish to make the occasional lighter gauge projects. So for light to medium ornamental wrought iron scrolls, this handy scroll bender is a good purchase.

  • Hinged segments are opened out and end of metal strip is placed into center segment and gripped by means of locking bar mechanism.
  • Metal is positioned to right of special pressure roller which ensures material is drawn into center as T-bar handle is operated to form scroll.
  • Handle is rotated to form scroll of required size. When finished, unlock center to release scroll.
