Vintage Antique Hand Painted Japanese Bone China Geishaware Bowl And Teacup Set. The set is in very good, pre owned condition, but does show some wear. There is some age related wear to the glaze on each piece and the saucer has one flea bite and small chip on rim, as well as two small chips on the base of the saucer. Please see photos for details. The shallow bowl depicts 4 Geishas in a garden of pink peonies.The teacup and saucer depict Geishas in a garden with colorful paper lanterns. The bowl measures 2 1/2”H x 8 3/4”W and weighs 15 ounces. The teacup measures 2 1/4”H x 3 3/4”W (rim to rim diameter). The saucer measures 1”H x 5 1/4”W. The bowl is stamped JAPAN. The teacup and saucer are unmarked.
