WWII topsy turvy, as Jane joins the Women's Auxiliary Air Force and falls in love with an ace flier, who has a high rating with the women. A little late she learns that he had been married to her now embittered best friend, and that he seems to be entangled with the wife of a fellow pilot. She fights him off -- he retaliates -- but eventually he straightens out his women, and she accedes.
