This fabulous illustration was called Emblems of Hathor from Pantheon Egyptien, published in 1823 by Leon Jean Joseph Dubois.  This was a study of people in Egyptian mythology.

Hathor was considered the goddess of women, love and fertility.  She was also known as the Lady of Turquoise.

Dubois was a French illustrator and archaeologist.  He was also a curator at the Louvre museum in Paris and a friend of French explorer, Jean Francois Champollion
