• Condition: Both the lid and base are free of chips, cracks and fleabites, including the underside of the lid and inner rim of the sugar. The lid has a slight wobble when in place, which is minor but worth noting. The gold is excellent with only slight wear. There are no notable marks or scratches from use and storage. The bottom has light shelf wear as expected. The sugar base is marked "Haviland, France" in green underglaze, Mark I, which was used between 1894 and 1931 and decorator marked "Haviland, Limoges" in red, mark c, which was used from 1889 to 1931.
