Vintage Pottery 10" Plate Wall Hanging SW Pueblo Style Signed R Galvan Mexico

This vintage polychrome pottery plate can be used as a wall hanging or underplate for a matching vase.

The plate was made in Mexico and created in the Native American Southwest Pueblo style. The clay coloring is the background for the hand painted design in black and turquoise blue.

It measures about 10" in diameter, and has a built-in opening for a string or wire for hanging.

The base is signed R Galvan and shows the residue where the "Made in Mexico" sticker used to be.

This was a Native American pow-wow / trade show purchase circa 1960s in New Mexico.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with only a few small dings in the paint that you can see in the pictures. There is no evidence of cracks, chips, or repairs in the pottery itself.
