Vintage Meissen tureen measures 11 3/8" x 8 1/2" and is 14" from handle to handle.  It measures 5" in height to the rim and 10" to the finial.  The underplate measures 16" x 11 5/8".   The tureen and lid are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or excessive wear; there is some minor wear to the gold trim in one area on the tureen.  The underplate has some wear to the gold, a repair on the edge, and a tiny chip on one handle (see pictures).  It has a Meissen first quality marks.
