Korean historical war drama charting the development of a devastatingly effective weapons system. Determined to regain control of what it sees as a breakaway state, the aspiring Chinese Ming dynasty becomes increasing hostile in its dealings with the Joseon dynasty and its ruler, King Sejong (Sung-Ki Ahn).
