Bollywood romance. Mithilesh Shukla (Rajpal Yadav) is an ordinary man who works at the local library. Unlucky in love, he's resigned to the single life until his mother arranges a meeting with Veena (Rituparna Sengupta), who Mithilesh sees as the answer to his prayers. Beautiful, cultured and educated, Veena is also very tall, which he doesn't mind at first. But when he overhears people joking about his lack of stature in compariso to Veena, his insecurities start to rise. Things take a turn for the worse when Veena's old College friend, tall, good-looking Akash (Kay Kay Menon), moves in next door, inflaming Mithilesh's jealosy.
