This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE CROSS PENDANT that was made during the ART DECO PERIOD of c1925 - c1935. It is handmade from 18K WHITE GOLD (front) and 18K YELLOW GOLD ( back). The cross is centrally bezel-set with 1 OLD EUROPEAN CUT DIAMOND that weighs approx. .06 ct. The cross is additionally set with 9 OLD SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .14 ctw. All of these diamonds are WHITE and ‘EYE CLEAN’ and the total diamond weight is approx. .20 ctw.
The cross is on the larger size, measuring 1-7/8” long, not including the bales, by 1-3/8” at the widest point and it is almost 3/16” thick at the center. The total weight is a solid feeling 5.4 grams. This cross looks like it has more diamonds because of the diamond-cut gold work on the end of each arm.
