Great primitive piece of Americana.
This is a rare side panel that was taken off the end of a 100 lb (100 1lb bags of coffee) wooden shipping crate J.A. Folger (Folger's) San Francisco CA.
Has marks and wear as expected with this 100+ year old find.
Crate was taken apart and covered in polyurethane.

Would display great in a coffee shop. Rare find. Never seen another.
This appears to be made sometime 1872-1889. In 1889, James passed away and his son James II took over the company. The J.A. Folger was changed to Folger's sometime pre 1909.
