This hardcover YA book is undated, but fortunately whoever gifted it wrote the date inside: 1936.

Lots of wear and soiling to this old copy: the dust jacket is nearly torn off, the pages are discolored from extreme age, the binding is beginning to split in one spot, and there is a name and date written inside. An old price sticker on the cover looks like it might tear the cover if peeled off.
