Up for sale is one pack of approximately 50 Lacy Phacelia Flower seeds - Phacelia Tanacetifolia. Very unusual flowers that when opening appear to be purple catepillars. When fully open these create a lighter purple to blue flower heads on tall 36" stems with very attractive fern like foilage.

Very durable for zones 3-10 Lacy Phacelia is best direct sown in early spring two weeks before you last frost in the spring. Press in the surface of your garden bed and lightly dust with peat or compost. Keep moist until germination.
You can also start these early in pots. Sow on surface and barely cover with potting material. Water from below and keep cool until germination. Lacy Phacelia will not germinate in hot mid summer weather.
