This is a delightful piece of Mexican folk art imported from Jalisco, Mexico. It is a traditional lion nagual with a spiked mane. He was made by Juan Jose Medrano using the same ceramics process called “Barro betus” and measures approximately 10” in height, 6” in length by 4” in width.
